The remarkable transformation of Aniket, who started as a hesitant and disengaged student, struggling to connect with his education. Through the compassionate guidance of CYDA his journey gradually unfolded, revealing his hidden potential.
Come! Let’s Listen!
In the heartwarming tale of Aniket Goraksh Misal, the transformation from a hesitant student to a confident learner is nothing short of inspiring. Aniket’s journey began in the quiet charm of Bharatwadi, where vast fields stretched endlessly, mirroring the hard work of his parents, who made their living through agriculture. Despite the simplicity of his surroundings, Aniket faced numerous challenges in his pursuit of education, with obstacles that seemed insurmountable at first.
Aniket’s Early Struggles: Overcoming fear and embracing learning
As a second-grader at Zilla Parishad Primary School, Aniket faced a host of challenges in his early education. His reluctance to attend classes was coupled with a deep fear of his teachers, creating a barrier between him and the learning process. Aniket’s lack of interest in school led to irregular attendance and a noticeable delay in his reading and writing skills. While his struggles were clear, his teachers and helpers recognized his potential. Recognizing that his challenges were not merely academic but emotional, they knew that unlocking his full potential would require more than conventional teaching methods. They understood that his fear and reluctance needed to be addressed first. Through patience, comprehension and a personalized approach, the teachers began working closely with Aniket, providing him with the support and encouragement necessary to nurture his growth.
Aniket’s Journey: Empowered by CYDA’s Compassionate Support
Aniket’s journey towards overcoming his struggles in education began with the intervention of the Bridging the Learning Gaps Program, where his hesitation was met with empathy and unwavering support. Recognizing Aniket’s disengagement, a dedicated facilitator set out to understand the root cause of his reluctance. Through careful observation and compassionate counseling, it became clear that Aniket’s barriers were not due to external trauma, but rather a deep hesitancy to connect with his peers and engage in activities. This insight paved the way for a personalized approach to help him reconnect with his education.

With this understanding, the facilitator introduced the Basic Study Skill Project, an initiative designed to make learning enjoyable and engaging for Aniket. The project focused on developing essential academic skills through interactive, fun activities that encouraged participation. It emphasized building foundational skills in reading, writing, and comprehension, while also fostering a positive attitude towards learning. Despite Aniket’s initial reluctance, the facilitator remained patient, offering consistent encouragement and gentle pushes to help him overcome his hesitations. Over time, Aniket became more involved, gradually embracing group activities and social interactions, which helped him grow both academically and socially.
Slowly, Aniket began to let go of his inhibitions. As he grew more comfortable in the supportive environment of the program, he began to emerge as an active participant in both academic and social settings. His transformation was evident as he got new friendships and embraced the joy of learning, improving his academic skills and gaining confidence as well. With the help of facilitators, Aniket’s potential was unlocked, and he thrived, blossoming into a vibrant presence in his school community.
